What is Autism?
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a complex neurodevelopmental condition characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication.
Assessment and diagnosis
Our assessments are conducted by skilled medical professionals who are specialized in child development. Medical assessment along with standardized assessments for Autism is used for the diagnosis.
Multi-disciplinary management
We offer a Multi-Disciplinary team meetings to provide comprehensive support and care for children under our guidance.
Parent Training Program
A comprehensive training program, thoughtfully curated for parents and caregivers of children with Autism, with a keen consideration for parental convenience by scheduling it once a month.
Proposed center
The state of art Interventional center for Autism is a dire need for the hospital. Once this facility is developed it will provide all the care needed for the child with Autism under one roof. This will open the doors for the patients to acquire services easily and efficiently.
VOCATIONAL
TRAINING
Vocational training tailored to their strengths fosters independence. Empowering skills pave pathways to meaningful employment. With support and understanding, every child with autism can thrive.
About Autism Steering Committee
This initiative is spearheaded by a team of esteemed professionals including consultants, other esteemed professionals headed by Dr. G. Wijesuriya, the Director of LRH, dedicated to providing support to parents and families of children with autism.
